Heather graduated from Bleckley County High School in 1996 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 2000. She worked with the adult population in skilled nursing facilities, acute care, and inpatient rehab facilities for her first 10 years of Occupational Therapy practice before working with the pediatric population. In 2010, Heather began working in the public school setting. She has thoroughly enjoyed working with students to meet developmental milestones and to pursue achieving their academic goals. Heather is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Heather is married to Lyle Dorman; they have 3 daughters. Heather enjoys being with her family and supporting her daughters in all of their extra curricular activities.
