Holly Howard has 23 years of experience across all ages and settings. In order to provide this knowledge to her community, she launched Southern Speech Pathology Services, LLC. Holly's passion for the field of speech pathology has guided her from schools to hospitals to skilled nursing facilities. Her passion knows no age limits. From simple sound impairments to neurologically based deficits, Holly believes in collaboration, so she will communicate with your other team members to ensure your optimal care. Holly has also received 3 ASHA Awards for Continuing Education which means she achieved 70 hours of continuing education in a 3 year period, 3 times. Holly is a trained and approved provider for Sequential Oral Sensory approach to feeding, Tethered Oral Tissues, Beckman Oral Motor, Ampcare ESP, PhoRTE voice, and McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program. Holly works diligently to stay educated on evidence based practices for infants through geriatrics. Holly is a member of ASHA's SIG 13 which allows her to stay abreast of all things involving swallowing and swallowing disorders. She is also a member of the MedSLP Collaborative which allows her to stay educated in all things in the medical field of speech pathology from education to collaborating with the nation's most specialized SLP's to help her serve each client with the highest, quality care. Holly has been married for 23 years. She and Autrey have 3 children. |
